dblack.communications inc. is a visual communications design and production company whose services span a variety of communication and promotion vehicles from web sites and new media through print. Specializing in information design, we design and create on-line applications such as websites, intranets, e-stores and other e-business functions, as well as interactive CD-ROMs, kiosks and PowerPoint presentations. Print media services complement new media technologies through an integrated approach to communication and promotional materials. The dblack.communications creative problem-solving team comprises experienced graphic designers, writers, database designers, technical programmers and project managers who contribute their diverse skill sets to a wide range of projects. Each project is unique, and we employ the most appropriate tool(s) and methodologies for the desired result. Often we collaborate with experts from other disciplines (e.g., fundraising, instructional and curriculum design) to provide a complete solution for the client.

A few examples of our diverse array of projects include: designing the Government of Saskatchewan web site, which involved information design, large databases, and integrated systems; designing and producing educational kits used for cultural or language instruction; animating conceptual designs and fly-throughs; producing instructional CD-ROMs; and presenting live multimedia events.
